A Charlotte native his entire life, Ayoub is proud to call North Carolina home. He is the son of hard-working immigrants that came to the United States in the late 1980s in pursuit of the American Dream. From an early age, his parents instilled in him the values of working hard, standing up for what is right, and giving back to others. Ayoub is a product of our public education system, having gone to elementary, middle, and high school all in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. His mom has been a public school teacher her entire career, and watching her work selflessly for her students and doing everything she could to ensure their success left an early impression on him.

After graduating from Providence High School, Ayoub went on to attend UNC-Chapel Hill. At UNC, he was a student-leader and heavily involved in the community, working closely with University administration on long-term planning projects in the area. He graduated in the top of his class with degrees in Business Administration and Mathematics and immediately came back home to Charlotte, where he currently works as a software developer in the Ballantyne area.

Ayoub enjoys reading and writing in his free time, and is an avid sports fan and unabashed supporter of the Carolina Panthers. A firm believer in Charlotte and in North Carolina, he is determined to do his part to help our State get back on the right track.
